ATLANTA PHOTOFACIAL
Atlanta Photofacial - What for?
Photofacial rejuvenates skin that has been superficially
damaged by the sun, by daily stress, or by genetic conditions. Many
people who pursue photofacial have sun damage that create uneven
skin tones, redness, and flushing. Photofacial is also an effective
treatment for Rosacea, also known as adult acne. Broken capillaries
can also be battled with photofacial. The treatment can also reduce
pigmentation irregularities and fine wrinkling.
Atlanta Photofacial - How's it work?
An intense pulse light is used, emitting gentle pulses
over the skin. The light pulses penetrate deep into the skin,
rejuvenating every layer of it and repairing damaged blood vessels.
The treatment can be used on the face, arms, neck, chest, and
hands. Photofacial involves very little discomfort.
Atlanta Photofacial - Does it last?
Redness may occur immediately after the treatment, but should last
for only 1-3 days. It is usually performed in a series of treatments,
generally about five in total. Patients enjoy results shortly after
treatment, and can pursue follow-up visits according to their preference
and needs.
